THIS ROLE IS BASED IN LAOS PDR We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join us during the growth phase of our business and champion diversity through all stages of our recruitment. We are looking for an experienced Technical Advisor – Processing within the Operations section of the Processing Department. Reporting to the Senior Superintendent – Processing (Operations), the Technical Advisor will provide operational support to the production crews as well as assisting in technical troubleshooting, new equipment commissioning and management of improvement projects.

Key responsibilities
include:
• Provide day-to-day technical and operational support to the Processing Department, working closely with production crews, supervisors and metallurgists to maintain safe and stable plant operations.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational and process constraints affecting plant throughput, metallurgical recovery, equipment performance and operating costs.
• Support compliance with LXML's Safe Work, Isolation and Permitting System (SWIPS), operating procedures and other site safety requirements.
• Assist in developing, reviewing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operating strategies and process control requirements.
• Work closely with the Khanong Project team to support operational readiness activities for the new copper processing facilities.
• Provide operational input into project design reviews, equipment selection, control philosophies and process arrangements to ensure operability,



maintainability and safe operation.
• Support the development and review of commissioning plans, operating procedures, training requirements and operational handover documentation for the Khanong Project.
• Participate in commissioning preparation, plant start-up and the transition of new facilities from the project team to operations.
• Support shutdown planning, equipment inspections, maintenance coordination and safe execution of plant improvement activities.
• Identify and implement practical improvements to plant safety, reliability, production performance and operating costs.
• Participate in operational incident investigations, identify contributing factors and support implementation of corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance and transfer operational knowledge to supervisors, operators and other members of the Processing team. Qualifications, Skills and

Experience:
• >10 years’ experience operating mineral processing plants ideally in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience specializing in the following areas: grinding, flotation, pressure oxidation, CIL, or gold room
• Demonstrated experience managing improvement projects.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop operating personnel and transfer technical knowledge.
• Experience in copper processing, particularly flotation, roasting, leaching and SX/EW, would be an advantage.
• Previous involvement in new plant commissioning, start-up, plant upgrades or operational readiness activities is highly desirable.
