About the role

Reporting to the Group People & Culture Manager, you will join a collaborative and supportive P&C; team at an exciting time for the organisation, as we work through change and seek to continually improve our offering. The Business Partner role provides critical support and actionable insights to their business unit leaders, helping to ensure that commercially astute people-focused strategies and initiatives are implemented and embedded effectively.

You will spend your time supporting the people initiatives of the group, reporting on metrics to help guide decision making and workforce planning, acting as a trusted advisor providing support and people advice, as well as influencing engagement, positive culture and facilitate best practise P&C; Principles.

Most importantly, you will be able to learn from, and be mentored by, an experienced and diverse group of P&C; professionals, providing you with an excellent opportunity to grow and develop professionally.

In this role you will be accountable for:

- Supporting the relevant Leadership team on all People-related matters
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders




- Providing business-focused, practical and operational People & Culture advice and services
- Interpreting and advising on policies, Enterprise Agreements, and employment legislation
- Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of company policies, processes and improvement initiatives
- Delivering value-added service to management and employees
- Embracing and supporting the Group P&C; strategy, initiatives and programs
- Maintaining people metrics and reporting, providing insights and guidance to your business unit

Are you the ideal candidate for us?

Ideally you will have experience in a generalist P&C; position and feel confident providing sound advice to leaders and employees on all people related matters. This role will keep you busy and varies from day to day therefore the ability to manage time is critical.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and generalist experience in Human Resources
- High level of initiative, a growth mindset and high personal standards
- Solid communication skills and a solution-focused approach
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build partnerships and influence decisions at all levels of the organisation
- An organised and thorough approach to work, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
