Hair Keen is a boutique, client-focused salon in the heart of Elsternwick. We're a close-knit team with a loyal clientele, and we're always busy. We're looking for someone who can keep up, stay positive, and is ready to start straight away.

What we offer

Great work-life balance: you only work 4 days a week, Wednesday to Saturday

The salon closes for 3 weeks every Christmas, so you can spend real time with family and friends

Hands-on mentoring from senior stylists

TAFE training can be arranged if required

What you'll do





Assist with colour services: root tints, toners, foil placement

Basin care: shampoo, scalp and hair treatments

Blow-dries and styling support for senior stylists

Keep the salon clean, organised and running smoothly

What we're looking for

2nd-year apprentice or above, or equivalent salon assistant experience

Able to do basic colour applications and blow-dries independently

Able to stay calm, organised and efficient in a busy salon

Reliable, friendly, well-presented and skilled

A positive team player

Valid Australian work rights (citizen, PR, Working Holiday Visa, etc.)
