Here is what a unicorn in the sector looks like:





- Extensive experience managing an Aged Care facility in Australia as a Facility Manager or General Manager
- Current AHPRA Registration with a strong clinical nursing background
- Funding & Rostering Mastery: Deep expertise in the AN-ACC funding model and optimizing rosters to hit the 215-minute care mandates without blowing out budgets
- Quality & Compliance: A proven track record with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC), maintaining high Star Ratings, or successfully turning around underperforming homes
- Commercial Acumen: Robust financial management skills with a history of driving high occupancy, managing P&Ls;, and optimizing localized revenue streams
- People Leadership: Demonstrated ability to drastically reduce agency spend by recruiting, developing, and retaining a stable, high-performing clinical workforce
- Progressive Vision: A genuine alignment with modern, resident-directed care models (e.g., small-household models, community integration, or hospitality-led dining)
- Full Australian working rights
