Toll Recruit are seeking casual HR Drivers to join Toll Group, delivering gas cylinders to customers across the healthcare, industrial and hospitality sectors. Based in Preston, this is a Monday to Friday role involving multi-drop deliveries throughout Melbourne and surrounding areas.

This is a hands‑on position requiring regular manual handling, including the safe unloading, reloading and set‑up of gas cylinders at customer sites. The role offers the opportunity to transition from casual employment to a permanent full‑time position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver gas cylinders to hospitals, pubs, industrial sites and other commercial customers across Melbourne and surrounding areas, including locations such as Preston, Dandenong, Geelong and Ballarat.
- Operate an HR flatbed truck with caged body.
- Use tail lift and trolley to safely unload and reload cylinders ( manual handling )
- Set up cylinders at customer sites as required.
- Multi-drop deliveries across Melbourne and surrounding areas.
- Follow all safety procedures and provide excellent customer service.

What we're looking for

- Current HR Licence with approx. 2 years of truck driving experience
- DG (Dangerous Goods) preferred
- LF Forklift Licence preferred
- Synchromesh gearbox preferred
- Ability to provide a recent driving history report
- Police check (or willingness to obtain one; company checks provided; recent checks may fast-track application)




- Previous multi-drop delivery experience highly regarded
- Solid customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, including knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

- $43.35 per hour + Super + Overtime
- Consistent Monday to Friday work
- 6:00am starts - get in early, get paid well
- Average of 8-12 hrs per day
- Ongoing position with genuine opportunity to move into a permanent full‑time role with TOLL
