Bright, bold, delicious and just a little bit cheeky, Ugly Baby is Stories' funky and spunky restaurant, serving up Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-inspired share plates, vibrant cocktails and plenty of good times.

Open Wednesday to Sunday and well past bedtime, we're all about fun dining, slick service and creating an experience that doesn't take itself too seriously.

We're on the hunt for a Restaurant Manager with skilled energy, a hands-on approach and a personality to match our Baby

A BIT ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who loves being on the floor, thrives in a busy restaurant and knows how to bring the best out of their team.

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a busy, high-volume restaurant.

A confident, charismatic leader with a positive and respectful management style.

Hands-on service is a must Someone who leads from the front and isn't afraid to get stuck in.

Strong floor management skills, including bookings, table turns, guest expectations and maximising covers.

A commercial mindset, with a focus on revenue, spend per head and maintaining great service standards.

Experience training, motivating and developing staff, including product knowledge and upselling.

A keen eye for detail across all aspects of the guest experience, venue presentation and service standards.

Confidence handling guest feedback, problem-solving and making decisions under pressure.





Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with chefs, management and Group Operations.

Knowledge of SevenRooms, Bepoz and TANDA is advantageous.

Flexible availability, reliability and a current WA RSA Certificate.
