Engineering Manager (ANZSCO 133211)Employer: Aspire Hospitality Group Pty LtdLocation: 70 Stirling Terrace, Albany WA 6330Job type: Permanent, Full TimeAbout the groupAspire Hospitality Group operates three Albany venues: Six Degrees (restaurant, bar, accommodation and live music), Chanya Thai (authentic Thai dining) and Venice Albany (Italian restaurant and cafe). We combine hospitality, accommodation and events with our own group technology, including Zinga payments and POS platforms, Alby and Goldroom.
Role overviewWe are seeking an Engineering Manager to plan, organise and direct the engineering and technical operations of our three venues, accommodation and group technology systems.
Key responsibilities
* Plan and direct engineering, maintenance and technical operations across Six Degrees, Chanya Thai, Venice Albany and accommodation
* Set engineering standards, budgets and schedules, and manage engineering staff and contractors
* Oversee building services: HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and commercial kitchen equipment
* Lead engineering projects, including fit-outs, upgrades and recent site development, from design to handover
* Direct the integration of venue technology, including Zinga POS hardware, sensors,
monitoring and automation systems
* Manage asset lifecycle planning, preventative maintenance and energy efficiency programs
* Ensure compliance with WHS, building codes, fire safety and council requirements
* Report engineering performance, risks and capital needs to the executive teamRequirements
* Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, building services or similar), or equivalent experience
* At least 5 years of engineering experience, including 2 years in an engineering management role
* Experience managing building services, contractors and capital projects
* Knowledge of WHS and building compliance
* Experience with asset management or maintenance software
* Current driver's licenceWhat
