We are seeking two to three reliable, professional and well-presented Casual Security Officers to join our team at a historic 148-year-old multi-purpose event and lifestyle precinct. The precinct hosts a diverse range of events and activities throughout the year. This role is suited to security professionals who enjoy working in busy public environments, engaging respectfully with patrons and helping create a protected and welcoming experience for everyone.

Key responsibilities

- Engage respectfully with patrons and help create a safe and welcoming experience for everyone
- Work in busy, high-volume event environments
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with patrons, staff and stakeholders
- Remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations
- Work as part of a team
- Deliver a high standard of service and security

About you





- Hold a current Queensland Security Provider licence with the Unarmed Security Guard and Crowd Controller subclass
- Hold a current Blue Card
- Hold a valid RSA
- Hold a valid QLD driver licence
- Be well presented and professional
- Have a positive attitude and good work ethic
- Be reliable, punctual and dependable
- Be physically capable of walking and standing for extended periods
- Demonstrate the right attitude, reliability and professional approach
- Casual security work at a major event and lifestyle precinct - 25-30 hours per week for suitable candidates
