ECHO Community Services is a registered charity providing care to the elderly to help them live in their own home with dignity while still maintaining their independence.

We provide in-home services 7 days per week for Home Care Package and 5 days per week for CHSP.

Our goal is to provide services at the same time, on the same day and with the same team of Support Workers which means that you know the people who are coming and the time they will arrive. Having the same support workers providing services, in particular, medication prompts and personal care, maintains the person’s dignity and well-being. You know and can trust the people attending. There is continuity of care for people who receive our services.

About the role:





ECHO Community Services is seeking an experienced Home Care Scheduler for an immediate start on a 6-week casual assignment.Working closely with Care Partners and Home Carers, you’ll coordinate rosters and services to ensure our clients receive reliable, consistent care.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinate daily rosters to match client needs with staff skills and availability.
- Manage last-minute changes, staff absences and service requests.
- Communicate scheduling updates to clients and Home Carers.
- Respond promptly to phone and email enquiries.

Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm (can be versatile for small adjustments).

Desired Skills and Experience

About you:

- Minimum 1 year of home care scheduling experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing high-volume rosters.
- Proficiency in Comcare, eCase, Sandwai or similar software.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Previous Support Worker experience and knowledge of the SCHADS Award will be highly regarded.
