TRÉSORS is seeking a confident, personable Christmas Casual Retail & Social Media Assistant to join our boutique in Sydney’s historic Strand Arcade.

Working with antique, vintage and fine jewellery, you’ll help customers find memorable Christmas gifts while supporting our social media, product cataloguing and shop merchandising.

About the Role

Your main focus will be customer service and sales, alongside creative and organisational duties, including:

- Welcoming customers, building rapport and understanding their tastes, needs and budgets.
- Recommending suitable pieces and confidently guiding customers through to purchase.
- Learning about our jewellery and sharing its features and stories with customers.
- Processing purchases and preparing beautiful gift wrapping.
- Helping create photographs, short videos and content for Instagram and Facebook.
- Photographing and cataloguing jewellery, recording product details, measurements and materials accurately.
- Assisting with Shopify product listings and keeping stock information organised.
- Styling jewellery displays, refreshing cabinets and supporting Christmas merchandising.
- Maintaining an inviting boutique and assisting with general retail duties.
- Other duties as required.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:





- Has retail sales experience and enjoys achieving sales.
- Communicates clearly, listens carefully and connects comfortably with a wide range of customers.
- Takes initiative and confidently approaches and assists shoppers.
- Has an interest in jewellery, antiques, fashion or luxury retail.
- Enjoys social media, photography and presenting products creatively.
- Has solid attention to detail and basic computer skills.
- Is well presented, reliable, organised and comfortable working in a small team.

Experience with Shopify, Canva, product photography or visual merchandising would be an advantage. Jewellery knowledge is welcome, with training provided.

Essential Availability

Applicants must be available for a minimum of three days per week throughout the Christmas trading period, up to and including Christmas Eve, with no holidays planned during this time.

Some Saturday availability is required, along with flexibility for busy trading days. Please clearly state your available days and earliest start date in your application.
