Smile IT are looking for a Senior Procurement Coordinator to join our Growth & Innovation team full time in our Tingalpa head office.

About the Role:

As the Senior Procurement Coordinator, you will work closely with the Procurement Coordinator to ensure the efficient and accurate procurement of IT hardware, software and equipment for Smile IT and its customers. You will liaise with distributors to secure competitive pricing, coordinate orders and deliveries, and maintain effective inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:





Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end procurement process with the Procurement Coordinator, including placing approved customer orders with distributors and coordinating delivery.

Lead vendor and distributor relationships to source competitive pricing, availability and lead times.

Prepare customer quotations based on individual requirements, liaising directly with customers where required.

Oversee Smile IT’s Microsoft Modern Work and broader software licensing portfolio, including renewals, consumption and licence optimisation.

Coordinate procurement and licensing requirements associated with onboarding, offboarding and organisational changes.

Maintain accurate licensing, procurement and vendor records, including purchase orders, supplier agreements, renewal schedules and inventory records.

Provide regular reporting on licence consumption, costs and optimisation opportunities.

Manage inventory and stock control, including receiving goods and reconciling customer orders against sales orders.

Coordinate freight and deliveries with carriers in accordance with Chain of Responsibility requirements.

Maintain accurate documentation across procurement, inventory, licensing and compliance processes.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a similar role, with procurement, purchasing or logistics experience highly regarded.

Technical awareness of IT hardware and industry trends.

Proficient in procurement and inventory management processes.

Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

A proactive attitude with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
