- Salary: $59,282.60 per annum, pro rata + super

Join South West Healthcare's Facilities team as a Maintenance/Gardener and play a hands‑on role in keeping our campuses safe, welcoming, and looking their best. Based primarily at our Camperdown Hospital, with some work at our Lismore campus, you will enjoy a diverse role that combines gardening, grounds maintenance, and general building maintenance. Every day brings something different, and every task contributes to creating a positive environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

What you will be doing

No two days are the same. Your work will include:

- Maintaining gardens and grounds through planting, pruning, mowing, trimming, propagating, and leaf blowing




- Servicing and maintaining gardening equipment and machinery
- Undertaking a variety of general maintenance tasks, including minor painting, basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical repairs, and heating and ventilation maintenance
- Helping ensure our facilities remain safe, functional, and well‑presented for everyone who uses them

What you will bring

- Experience in gardening, landscaping, and plant care
- General maintenance skills across a range of trades
- Experience using, servicing, and maintaining gardening equipment and machinery
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
