General Manager – Engineering & Industrial Technology

Search Partners has been engaged to appoint a State General Manager for an established national engineering and industrial technology business.

This is a commercially focused leadership position with responsibility for growing the South Australian business, strengthening customer relationships and leading an experienced technical team.

With an established customer base, solid engineering capability and national support, the foundations are in place. The opportunity is to build on them.

We're looking for someone who;

- Has an established network across South Australia's industrial, mining, resources, utilities or infrastructure sectors.
- Has a demonstrated track record of developing customer relationships, winning work and growing a business.
- Understands engineering, electrical,



automation or technical services environments.
- Can lead and earn the respect of experienced engineers and technical professionals.
- Is commercially driven, approachable and comfortable being hands‑on with customers.

You may currently be a State Manager, General Manager, Business Unit Manager or senior commercial leader ready for broader responsibility.

This is not primarily an operational delivery role. The business has very capable technical and project delivery resources in place. We're looking for someone who can build relationships, identify opportunities and drive sustainable growth.
