Centurion Garage Doors is seeking a Service Technician to join our Queensland team, based at our Yatala factory. Working closely with our experienced lead technician/trainer, you will develop your technical knowledge, gain confidence solving problems and learn how to help customers improve their installation and servicing skills.

You don’t need to be the most experienced technician on the team. We’re looking for a practical foundation, pride in your work and a willingness to learn.

The opportunity

You will contribute to hands‑on servicing and repairs while developing your skills in technical support and customer training. As your knowledge and confidence grow, there is a pathway to take on greater responsibility in these areas.

Your work will include:

- Servicing and repairing sectional doors, roller doors and automatic openers.
- Diagnosing faults and resolving installation and servicing issues with guidance from our lead technician/trainer.
- Assisting with practical customer training and product demonstrations.




- Learning how to explain installation techniques, servicing procedures and fault finding clearly.
- Visiting customer sites and building professional working relationships.
- Completing service records and following safe work procedures.

What you will bring

- Garage door industry experience, including servicing sectional and roller doors.
- Practical mechanical skills and an interest in understanding how things work.
- A willingness to ask questions, learn and take feedback on board.
- A friendly, patient approach to customers and colleagues.
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
- Previous training experience is not essential. This is an chance to develop those skills alongside an experienced technician/trainer.
