Assistant Project Manager - Up to $130,000 + Super

An exciting opportunity is available for a Junior / Assistant Project Manager to join a growing property development business.

This is a client-side role suited to someone with a hands-on construction or trade background who is ready to move into project management and gain exposure to the development process from the owner's perspective.

Working closely with an established project management team, you’ll support the delivery of civil infrastructure and construction works across three sites, coordinating contractors, monitoring progress and helping ensure projects are delivered to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the delivery of civil and construction projects across three sites.
- Work alongside the project management team to oversee contractors and monitor site progress.
- Coordinate with builders, subcontractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Assist with progress claims, project reporting and cost monitoring.
- Monitor programme, quality, safety and construction milestones.
- Attend site meetings, identify issues and help drive project outcomes.
- Support the broader development team throughout the construction and delivery process.
- Travel between sites, with a company vehicle provided for work-related travel.

About You

- A background in construction, civil works or a relevant trade.
- Practical site experience and a solid understanding of construction processes.
- Experience as a Site Supervisor, Leading Hand, Project Coordinator, Site Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in project costs, progress claims and project delivery.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively with contractors and internal stakeholders.
- A current driver's licence.

Most importantly, you’ll be comfortable on site, understand the practicalities of construction and be keen to develop your career in client-side project management.

- $90,000 - $120,000 + super, depending on experience.
