12-month contract - parental leave cover.

Two options available for the right candidate;

Cairns based with regular travel to Cape York (travel allowance will apply)

OR

Based in Community full time with Subsidised Accommodation and Relocation

This position will be mentor and support trainees and apprentices to facilitate their successful progression through the coursework and practical skills development of their courses. It will also facilitate and monitor career development opportunities for all staff, providing clear pathways for growth and a more highly skilled workforce.

Who We're Looking For

You're a supportive,



organised people person who loves developing others and communicates respectfully and confidently.

You will have:

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or at least 2 years' experience in professional development, training or a related role

Experience designing and delivering training programs

Strong coaching, interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent organisational and project management skills

Sound knowledge of modern approaches to HR and an understanding of employment-related legislation

A desire to interact positively with, and experience communicating with, Australian First Nations people, their culture and customs

Ability to work collaboratively with departments and stakeholders
