About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Electric Car Sales Consultant to join our team in Werribee, VIC. This is a full-time position based at our showroom located at Werribee VIC 3030. In this role, you will be at the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution, helping customers discover the perfect vehicle to suit their lifestyle and needs. You will combine consultative selling skills with product knowledge to guide customers through their purchase journey, ultimately driving sales and building long-term customer relationships in the dynamic EV market.

Key responsibilities

Greet and engage prospective customers, conducting needs assessments to understand their vehicle requirements and preferences

Provide expert product knowledge and demonstrations of electric vehicles, highlighting features, benefits, and technological advantages

Present vehicle specifications, pricing options, and financing solutions in a clear and compelling manner

Address customer questions and concerns regarding electric vehicle technology, battery performance, charging infrastructure, and incentives

Conduct test drives and guide customers through the vehicle inspection process

Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and process sales documentation accurately and efficiently





Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities in the dealership management system

Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team performance goals

Stay current with product updates, industry trends, and electric vehicle market developments

Provide exceptional after-sales support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

Proven sales experience in automotive retail or a related consultative sales environment

Strong knowledge of electric vehicle technology, features, and benefits, or demonstrated willingness to rapidly develop this expertise

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers

Ability to understand customer needs and present tailored solutions that address their specific requirements

Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office applications

A customer-focused mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets

High level of integrity and professionalism in all customer interactions

Willingness to undertake ongoing training in electric vehicle product knowledge and sales techniques

Preferred: Previous experience in EV sales or familiarity with electric vehicle market trends
