Luna Group is seeking an experienced, passionate and driven Venue Manager to lead the operations of one of our established Brisbane hospitality venues.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the venue, ensuring exceptional standards across food and beverage service, customer experience, staff performance and overall business operations.

Working closely with Luna Group's Head Office and senior management team, you'll play an important role in maintaining operational standards, driving profitability and creating a positive environment for both guests and employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee all day‑to‑day restaurant and venue operations, ensuring efficient and consistent service.

- Lead, train and motivate front‑of‑house staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

- Manage staff rostering, labour costs and team performance.

- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service and high standards of food and beverage presentation.

- Maintain high standards of customer service, venue presentation and cleanliness.

- Monitor venue performance, budgets, revenue and operational expenses.

- Manage stock control,



inventory, ordering and supplier relationships.

- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently.

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, liquor licensing requirements and workplace health and safety standards.

- Oversee restaurant reservations, functions and special events to ensure seamless guest experiences.

- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and overall venue profitability.

- Foster a positive, professional and supportive workplace culture.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for an enthusiastic hospitality professional who leads by example, has excellent attention to detail and genuinely enjoys creating memorable dining experiences.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Venue Manager, Assistant Venue Manager or in a similar senior hospitality management role.

- A strong background in restaurant operations and food and beverage service.

- Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills.

- Experience managing high-volume restaurant service and maintaining quality under pressure.

- Strong knowledge of rostering, budgeting, labour management and cost control.

- A sound understanding of food safety standards,



liquor licensing and hospitality compliance requirements.

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple operational priorities.

- A customer‑focused approach with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

- Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive, hands‑on management style.

- A current Queensland RSA certificate, with additional relevant hospitality qualifications highly regarded.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
