About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shopfitting Foreman to join our growing team. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for managing shopfitting projects, coordinating site activities, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial fit‑outs, particularly restaurants and cafés, with strong knowledge of joinery installation, metalwork, site measurements, and setting out. Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all on‑site shopfitting activities.

Lead and manage installers, subcontractors, and trades.

Read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.

Carry out accurate site measurements and setting out before installation.

Oversee the installation of joinery, metalwork, and other fit‑out components to ensure quality and accuracy.

Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Maintain high‑quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Enforce workplace health and safety requirements.

Coordinate deliveries, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.





Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Identify and resolve site issues efficiently.

Minimum 5 years' experience in shopfitting or commercial fit‑outs.

Previous experience as a Foreman, Leading Hand, or Site Supervisor.

Solid experience in joinery installation, stainless steel and metalwork, and commercial fit‑outs.

Ability to carry out accurate site measurements and interpret technical drawings.

Experience with setting out and ensuring installations are completed to specification.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Current White Card.

Current Driver's Licence.

Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.

Experience in restaurant, café, retail, and commercial fit‑out projects.

First Aid Certificate.

Forklift, EWP, or other relevant licences.

Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.

Experience coordinating multiple trades on‑site.
