- Manage safety interfaces with head contractors, councils and utilities, including client audits, reporting and site meetings
- Report safety performance to the Managing Director and drive improvement actions
- Lead and mentor the HR and Training Coordinator, including inductions, training and competency records
- Keep safety registers and records current in our digital site system (Prestartr)

What you will bring
- Diploma of Work Health and Safety or higher

- Working knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld), the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 (Qld) and the relevant Codes of Practice
- Experience working within an ISO 4501 management system
- Confidence on site with crews and supervisors, and in front of clients
- General construction induction card (White Card) and a current driver licence
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualification in WHS or a related field
- Lead auditor qualification (ISO 45001 or integrated systems)
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator training
- Experience on council or utility contracts in South East Queensland
- Current first aid certificate
