Contractor Owner Drivers – 8 Pallet Pantech (2-Person Crew)

PicUp is seeking experienced contractor owner-drivers with a 6-tonne pantech and 2-person crew for a new high-volume Sydney delivery contract starting in early November.

This is secure, regular work with a clear pathway to additional trucks once performance is proven.

Job Type

- Contractor / Owner Driver
- Ongoing, long-term work
- Monday to Saturday (6 days per week)

Location

- Depot: Guildford NSW
- Service Area: Sydney Metro & Outer Metro (predominantly metro)

The Work

- Daily multi-drop delivery runs
- Truck finishes on road (no depot return until next day)
- Bulky freight including: whitegoods, appliances & electronics (fridges, washing machines, dryers, TVs etc)
- Includes ATL, Room of Choice & White Glove (including connection of washing machines, fridges, dishwashers etc)

Volume & Hours Profile (Indicative)

- 15-20 deliveries per day
- 8-10 hours per day, 10-12 in peak volume periods

Vehicle & Crew Requirements (Essential)

- 6-tonne pantech
- 8-10 pallet
- Ideal capacity: 30 m³
- 2-person crew required
- Load restraint equipment, blankets, straps, stair-climber trolley
- Smartphone with data

Contractor Requirements

- ABN & GST registered
- Commercial vehicle insurance
- Public liability insurance




- Workers comp insurance or equivalent
- Physically capable and customer service skills
- Excellent English & communication skills
- No students & Australian license only
- Experience with whitegoods, appliances and white-glove delivery

Pay & Commercials

- Day rate for 2-person truck
- Daily minimum hours apply (8hrs)
- Consistent Monday-Satday volume (not gig work)

Start Date

- Early November (TBC)

Technology

- Experience using delivery apps is advantageous
- Strict adherence to quality POD compliance is required
