Experienced Barista – Casual Opportunity

We’re looking for a friendly and experienced barista to join our team on a casual basis.

About the Role

- Prepare and serve consistently high-quality espresso-based coffees.

- Adjust the grinder and dial in coffee to maintain quality throughout the day.

- Texture milk and produce latte art to a consistent standard.

- Prepare matcha and other beverages according to our recipes and standards.

- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.

- Provide friendly and professional customer service.

- Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented coffee station.

- Clean and maintain coffee equipment.

- Assist the kitchen team with food preparation and handling.

- Help with stocktaking and inventory checklists.

- Assist with dishwashing and general cleaning duties when required.

- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous barista experience in an Australian café.





- Confidence working independently with an espresso machine and grinder.

- Strong coffee-making skills and a sound understanding of espresso extraction.

- Experience preparing matcha and other beverages is desirable.

- Knowledge of food handling and café hygiene standards.

- The ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.

- A positive attitude, reliability and strong teamwork skills.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Flexibility to assist with kitchen, cleaning and general café duties.

- Valid working rights in Australia for the required hours.
