About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Junior IT Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT Support Services team. In this critical role, you will be the first and second line of technical support for our end-users, ensuring seamless issue resolution and minimal business disruption. The ideal candidate is technically adept, customer-focused, and capable of delivering VIP support and managing multiple hardware/software environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware/software issues.
- Provide hands-on L1 deskside support, including VIP user assistance.
- Apply software patches, perform upgrades, and support deployments.
- Manage desktop and LAN printers, including consumable replacements.
- Coordinate and monitor vendor-provided hardware repair services.
- Provide "hands and feet" support for communication systems.
- Act as a single point of contact for end-user service requests.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in an L1 IT support or deskside support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and networking basics.




- Experience with SCCM, Active Directory, ServiceNow (or similar ticketing systems).
- Solid understanding of printers, AV equipment, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Ability to support VIP users with professionalism and urgency.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a support team.

Preferred Qualifications:

- CompTIA A+ or similar hardware certification.
- Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
