NDIS Growth Manager - SIL and Community Supports
Home Caring, part of The Caring Group, is an award-winning home care provider delivering aged care and disability support across Australia through corporate-owned and franchise regions. Our mission is to deliver sensitive, respectful, client-centred care that helps people live independently and comfortably in their own homes.
Our services include aged care support under Support at Home, disability support under the NDIS (including Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation), and complex and high-needs care.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The NDIS Growth Manager (SIL, SDA and Community Supports) is Home Caring's lead for NDIS market access, owning all growth in our key SIL regions in NSW, VIC and QLD. The role is built around three key outputs: filling SIL and SDA vacancies in those regions, winning new community supports clients through your own Support Coordinator relationships in any region, and helping regional teams grow total revenue to budget.
1. New SIL revenue
Fill SIL and SDA vacancies from enquiry to move-in: qualify each enquiry, match the participant to the right home, hand the site visit to the regional team and follow through until the placement is won. Where no Home Caring home suits, refer the participant to another specialist brand within The Caring Group. You own the SIL and SDA register and the SIL and SDA pipeline in the CRM.
2. New NDIS community supports revenue (any region)
Win new community supports clients in any region through your own relationships with key Support Coordinators, plan managers and referral groups. Triage every enquiry and referral against the booking gates and route it to the region best placed to support the participant the same business day.
3. Regions to topline budget
As the single growth contact for your regional teams in dedicated areas, drive total revenue across your dedicated regions against the financial year topline budget. Help regional teams build their own referral networks so they can win clients directly and coach them on the communication and sales practices that grow direct referrals and lift conversion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Fill SIL and SDA vacancies
Own the vacancy pipeline across your key SIL regions from enquiry to move-in, working with regional teams from lead to close, qualifying each participant on funding, SDA eligibility, support ratio and compatibility.
Run a weekly vacancy check-in with each SIL region to confirm vacancies, matching criteria and next steps, and upscale vacancies that stall.
Hand site visits, meet and greets and trial stays to the regional team, then follow up with the region and coordinator until each placement is won.
Where no Home Caring home suits, refer the participant to another specialist brand within The Caring Group and confirm the referral has been picked up.
2. Build Support Coordinator relationships
Own relationships with key Support Coordinators and referral groups, and build a prioritised national list covering SIL, SDA and community supports, to generate a steady flow of each.
Run a regular outreach cycle and log every contact in the CRM so each referral enters the pipeline.
Brief the marketing team on targeted campaigns and collateral for Support Coordinators and other key referral groups.
3. Grow NDIS community supports
Generate recent NDIS community supports leads directly through your Support Coordinator relationships, log each as personally generated in the CRM and route it to the right region the same business day.
Follow every lead you generate through to a signed client with the regional team.
4. Drive regional growth to budget
Act as the single growth contact for the teams in your regions, and work with each team to deliver the region's topline budget.
Support regional teams to develop local Support Coordinator relationships: build each region's local Support Coordinator list and outreach plan with the regional team, make the introductions, then hand the relationship to the local manager.
Review how each region handles the leads you send, identify gaps in sales follow-up and communication with participants and referrers, and work with the team to close them.
Coach regional teams on best-practice community participation, including local events, networking and community engagement, to drive new client acquisition.
Share what is working across regions so every team can lift its conversion and growth.
Work with the Operations team and regional teams to ensure every new client is onboarded compliantly, with funding, service agreements and NDIS Practice Standards requirements in place before services start.
5. Triage other referrals
Act as the single contact for Support Coordinators and professional referrers a
