We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operations at our client’s site – Mecca stores. The successful candidate will coordinate the cleaning team, maintain high standards of store presentation, respond to urgent cleaning requests, and act as the main point of contact for the MECCA team.

Reporting to the Client Services Manager, you will uphold SCS Group’s Core Values of Enterprising, Passion, Integrity and Collaboration while delivering consistent, high-quality cleaning services. The working hours will be Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM & Thursday to Sunday: 11:30 AM – 7:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

- Direct and coordinate the day cleaning team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Act as the main point of contact for the MECCA team regarding cleaning operations and requests.
- Prioritise response cleaning throughout trading hours, promptly managing spills and urgent cleaning requests.
- Monitor overall store presentation and redirect team members as required to maintain cleanliness across all areas.




- Oversee BOH cleaning and provide support where needed.
- Coordinate the cleaning and maintenance of store entry and exit points, particularly the car park access into the store.
- Monitor bin levels and coordinate bin runs ahead of peak trading periods.
- Conduct opening, mid-shift and handover checks to ensure consistent cleaning standards throughout the day.
- Keep the cleaning team productive during quieter periods by allocating tasks and addressing areas requiring attention.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used appropriately and maintained as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety requirements, cleaning procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

- Available to commence in late November 2026.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the commercial cleaning industry.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cleaning staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise professionally with the client.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Ability to work independently, multitask and manage time effectively in a busy retail environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and supplies.
- Appropriate work rights in Australia.
- Availability to work the following shifts: Wednesday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM & Thursday to Sunday 11:30 AM – 7:00 PM.
