About the role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Sales Team Member to become an integral part of our Belmont branch. This role will suit someone who enjoys building customer relationships, solving problems and working within a close-knit team

This role will ideally work Sunday – Thursday.

What you'll be doing:

- Provide exceptional customer service and product recommendations to trade and retail customers
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Build strong relationships with regular customers and identify sales opportunities
- Maintain product displays, merchandising standards and store presentation
- Assist with stock receipt, replenishment and inventory management
- Support warehouse and loading activities where required
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and in person
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store sales targets
- Contribute to a safe, positive and customer-focused team culture

We're looking for someone who:

- Experience in retail, trade sales, customer service or a similar customer-facing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, mature and team-oriented approach
- Comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment
- Forklift licence highly desirable but not essential
