We are looking for an experienced Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist to join our small, dedicated team. Deakin Dental Care is a privately owned practice established in 2022 offering all facets of general dentistry including implants and treatment under IV sedation in the practice.

About the role:

- Full books from the get go.
- Loyal, long-term patient base that regularly turn up to their appointments and are looking and asking for an OHT/Hygienist to take over their regular cleans.
- Flexible days and hours - ideally we'd like someone 3-4 days a week 8.30-5pm to coincide with our dentist's busy days and be able to relieve their caseload but we have a chair available 5 days a week and can work with the right candidate and their availability and work schedule (e.g. school hours).
- Mentorship and support from a Principal Dentist and Senior Associate Dentist who are well known throughout Canberra and have 30+ years of experience between them.
- Brand recent chair and fit out in a fully digital practice with access to OPG/CBCT machines and intraoral scanner.
- Support staff available - for an OHT,



a DA will be made available if required and all changeovers/sterilisation will be able to completed by a DA.
- Flexible renumeration package that is negotiable to the right candidate.

About you:

- Want to work! We have the patients waiting, we just need someone who is ready, capable and wanting to work.
- Be well presented, friendly, and patient centric in your approach to all treatment.
- Work well with a team - you will have DAs and receptionists supporting you and the ability to work with them is a must.
- Be proactive and help grow your patient base.
- Be able to work closely and collaboratively with our dentists to provide the best possible care for our patients.
- Have working rights within Australia.
- Hold the relevant qualifications, licensing, registration and insurance to enable you to work as an OHT/Hygienist in Australia.
- Ideally, have 5+ years experience but we are more than happy to support and mentor a candidate with less experience who wants to grow and learn.

Pay: $66,800.00 – $149,000.00 per year
