About the role

Purin Thai Massage is seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Melbourne VIC 3004, this role offers the opportunity to deliver therapeutic massage services in a welcoming and professional environment. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting client wellbeing and relaxation whilst building a loyal client base through exceptional service and expertise.

What you'll be doing

- Providing high-quality massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs and preferences
- Conducting thorough consultations with clients to understand their health history, concerns and treatment goals
- Administering various massage techniques including Thai massage, Swedish massage, deep tissue and other therapeutic modalities
- Maintaining accurate and confidential client records and treatment notes
- Creating a calm, hygienic and professional treatment workplace
- Educating clients on post-treatment care and recommending appropriate self-care practices
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat bookings
- Adhering to all health and safety standards, including sanitation and infection control protocols
- Contributing to a positive team atmosphere and supporting colleagues as needed

What we're looking for

- Current registration or certification as a Massage Therapist recognised in Australia
- Demonstrated experience in delivering massage therapy treatments, preferably including Thai massage
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and therapeutic massage techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make clients feel comfortable and at ease
- A genuine passion for client wellbeing and holistic health




- Ability to work flexibly within a casual arrangement, managing your own schedule
- Professional presentation and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Current First Aid certification is highly desirable
- Experience with online booking systems or client management software is beneficial
