Hobart Child Psychology has run as a sole trader then family operation for a number of years, and is now looking to grow it's practice. We are dedicated to supporting children, young people and their families to build skills, develop confidence and navigate life's challenges. We provide individualised, strengths-based support through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), helping young people work towards their goals and participate more fully in everyday life.

Please note: Formal clinical supervision is not currently available through the practice, so applicants must have appropriate supervision arrangements in place to meet their professional registration requirements.

Location: Hobart, Tasmania

About the Role: As a Provisional Psychologist (5+1 Intern), you'll work alongside a very small but growing team while completing your 5+1 Internship Program. You'll gain experience in psychological intervention, formulation, and assessment while supporting young people and families experiencing a range of mental health and well-being challenges.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse range of settings and presentations across youth mental health.

Experience and Qualification Requirements:

- Master of Skilled Psychology
- Must hold a Provisional registration with AHPRA
- Eligibility to take the 5 + 1 internship pathway
