Retail Sales, Showroom Assistant - Full Time

About the role

Show Tile Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Showroom Assistant to join our team in Bankstown, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our busy tile showroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing and successful retail business in the heart of Western Sydney.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting and welcoming customers, providing a friendly and professional service

2. Assisting customers with product selection, offering guidance and advice on tile choices

3. Maintaining the showroom's presentation, ensuring displays are well-organised

4. Processing sales transactions and handling cash and card payments

5. Providing administrative support, such as answering phone enquiries and updating inventory records

6. Working closely with the Showroom Manager to support the smooth running of the business

What we're looking for

1. Willingness to learn new knowledge

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and helpful attitude

3. Keen interest in home improvement and design

4. Proficient in using basic computer skills

5. Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work culture

Availability to work during standard business hours, including Saturdays

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
