Job Description

Bliss Nursing and Community Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable and dedicated Support Worker to provide personal care and daily living support to a client in Macgregor, Canberra ACT 2615.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting our client to maintain their comfort, dignity, independence and wellbeing in their own home.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
- Support the client with daily living activities according to their individual needs.
- Promote the client's independence, dignity and choice at all times.
- Provide respectful, compassionate and person-centred support.
- Follow care plans and maintain the client's privacy and confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively and report any concerns regarding the client's health or wellbeing.

Essential Requirements





- Previous experience in personal care.
- A caring, patient and professional attitude.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently.
- Relevant qualifications, checks and certifications as required for the role.
