About us
Gateway Research is a Sydney-based market research agency. We help brands and organisations understand how people shop, travel and make decisions. We’re busy at the moment and need a couple of reliable casual team members to help deliver fieldwork across a growing number of projects.
The role
You’ll be our people on the ground, working in stores, shopping centres and other locations around Greater Sydney. Typical tasks include:
- Approaching and recruiting shoppers to take part in research
- Running surveys and short interviews, usually on a tablet or device
- Helping set up and run in-store research sessions
- Following study procedures carefully so the data we collect is accurate
- Reporting back to the project team at the end of each shift
Work is casual and comes in project by project. Shifts can fall on weekdays or weekends, and some weeks will be busier than others. We’re looking for people who can start straight away.
About you
- Well-presented, friendly and confident approaching members of the public
- Comfortable being on your feet for most of a shift
- Able to travel to locations across Greater Sydney (a car is handy but not essential)
- Available for weekend shifts from time to time
- Reliable, punctual and good at following instructions
- Full Australian working rights
This role would suit someone looking to get a foot in the door in market research, a student, or anyone who wants adaptable, varied work that fits around other commitments.
What we offer
- $38 per hour + super
- Full training and support on every project
- Real research experience on projects for well-known brands
