Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprenticeship Mature Age - Commercial

Fridgecool is seeking a mature age Apprentice to complete a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration via an apprenticeship of up to 4 years with RMIT. You will be working in a team environment within Metro Melbourne and Geelong areas on a daily/weekly basis. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday with an immediate start, involving weekly travel around Metro Melbourne and Geelong.

Key responsibilities

- Installing, repairing or replacing parts such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, air filters, switches, controls and gauges
- Servicing AC and refrigeration systems of existing customers
- Carrying out preventative maintenance AC and refrigeration of existing customers
- Installing and connecting piping to refrigeration systems
- Testing systems for leaks and then filling them with refrigerant according to relevant standards and regulations





About you

- Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia
- Full vaccinated – must provide proof of vaccination
- Valid Full Driver's Licence
- Positive attitude towards work, colleagues and customers
- Demonstrate a solid mechanical aptitude
- Exhibit attention to detail
- Commitment, reliability and punctuality
- Good Safety and OH&S; Awareness
- White Card - Preferred but not essential
- Must be committed to passing all training requirements of an apprentice
