M&M; Care Nursing is a growing NDIS nursing provider delivering high-quality, person-centred clinical nursing services to clients in their homes across Sydney.
We are seeking experienced, reliable and confident Registered Nurses to join our community nursing team. Applicants must have strong clinical assessment skills and be capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of patient safety and qualified care.
Key Responsibilities
Successful applicants will be expected to perform a broad range of registered nursing duties, including:
- Comprehensive nursing assessments, clinical observations and ongoing monitoring.
- Complex and chronic wound assessments, wound management and dressing changes.
- Pressure injury prevention, assessment and management.
- Indwelling urinary catheter (IDC) insertion, removal, changes and management.
- Suprapubic catheter (SPC) care, routine changes and troubleshooting.
- Medication administration and medication management.
- Insulin administration, blood glucose monitoring and diabetes management.
- Subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
- Continence assessments and bladder and bowel management.
- Stoma and urostomy care.
- Palliative care and chronic disease management.
- Personal care assistance, including showering, dressing and hygiene support where required.
- Comprehensive clinical documentation, progress notes, care plans and incident reporting.
- Identifying clinical deterioration and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Liaising with GPs, specialists, allied health professionals, families and support coordinators.
Essential Requirements
Applicants MUST meet the following criteria:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated experience in community nursing, aged care, disability nursing or acute clinical settings.
- Strong experience in complex wound care and urinary catheter management.
- Competency in medication administration, insulin and injections.
- Ability to complete comprehensive nursing assessments independently.
- Excellent clinical judgement, communication and documentation skills.
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between clients.
- Current National Police Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Australian Business Number (ABN) for contractor positions.
- Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance for contractors.
- Ability to work independently and within the RN scope of practice.
Please note: This position requires experienced Registered Nurses who can confidently deliver community nursing services with minimal supervision.
