We're a family-owned butcher shop looking for a warm, confident and personable team member who loves good food and enjoys helping people.

This is more than a traditional counter service role. We want someone who takes pride in getting to know our customers, helping them plan meals, sharing cooking ideas and introducing them to great products.

We're offering:

- Three to four daytime shifts per week, generally 9 am–3 pm.
- A regular weekday roster with approximately 18–24 hours.
- No regular evening shifts.
- Opportunities for occasional Saturday shifts by mutual agreement.
- A friendly, supportive environment in a locally owned business.

What you'll be doing

- Welcoming customers and building genuine relationships with our regulars.
- Helping customers choose cuts, plan family meals and explore current cooking ideas.
- Recommending products, meal solutions, weekly specials and complementary items.




- Introducing customers to our family meat packs, meat boxes and pre-order options.
- Taking ownership of front-of-house presentation, merchandising and customer orders.
- Working alongside our skilled butchers to provide exceptional service.

- Has a natural ability to recommend products without being pushy.
- Takes initiative and enjoys responsibility.
- Is reliable, organised and enjoys being part of a small team.

Experience in specialty food retail, delis, hospitality or customer-facing sales would be highly regarded.

You don't need butchery experience. We can teach you about our products. What matters most is your personality, enthusiasm and ability to connect with customers.
