Fastrak under instruction from the Senior Management of one of Perth’s leading quarry mine site companies have been asked to engage two day shift Mechanical Fitters for an immediate start. The client is one of Western Australia’s largest companies. The positions for the right candidates are long term, temporary to permanent - for applicants who are looking for career advancement or change.

Overseas or interstate applications will not be considered for this role

About the job:

Full time casual day shift – temporary to permanent after qualifying period

Base pay rate plus penalty rates and super

As an experienced mechanical fitter, you will be able to work on a combination of large and small fixed plant mining equipment including but not limited to:

· Fixed plant

· Screens

· Primary and secondary crushers

· Cone crushers

· Conveyors

· Pumps

You may also be required to work on mobile plant equipment such as:

· Dump trucks

· Dozers

· Loaders

· Excavators

About you:

· You must reside in Western Australia and have unrestricted working rights

· You must live within 30kms of Mundaring, in the Perth Hills or surrounding areas

· Australian Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate (or recognised equivalent)

· Proven work history on mobile and fixed plant equipment – 3 contactable referees to support your application

· Must hold a valid driver’s licence (HR advantageous) with own reliable transport

· High risk forklift licence and advantage

· Commitment to Company safety policies and procedures

· Able to pass a drug and alcohol screen and pre-employment medical
