Chevron Glass is seeking an experienced CNC operator to join our factory staff across two possible locations. This is a full time role that will see you responsible for not only operating a CNC machine but assisting in any trouble shooting or possible maintenance issues that may surface.

What you'll be doing

Load and position raw glass sheets onto the flatbed using suction lifters, overhead cranes or by hand where possible

Select and install correct tooling

Calibrate machine settings

Execute programs and monitor the machinery to detect any malfunctions or cutting errors

Input CAD / CAM data or modify existing CNC programs directly at the machine console

Read blueprints and technical drawings

Optimize nesting layouts

Inspect finished glass for defects, scratches and errors etc





Perform routine maintenance

What we are looking for

1-3 years experience operating a CNC machinery, preferably a flatbed CNC within the glass, stone or sheet metal fabrication industries.

Proficiency with CNC software e.g. CMS or similar

High mathematical aptitude for calculating precise measurements and offsets

Physical Capability to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing workplace

Pay: $30.22 – $47.33 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
