The opportunity
We're hiring an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician to join our Karratha team.

This is a great opportunity for a trade-qualified technician who wants permanent work, good equipment, strong pay and the freedom to get on with the job.

You'll service commercial and industrial sites across Karratha, Dampier, Roebourne and the wider Pilbara, working across:

- Split systems
- Ducted systems
- VRV / VRF
- Chillers
- Commercial refrigeration
- Cool rooms and freezer rooms
- Mechanical plant
- Controls and BMS

You'll have a planned schedule, an established local client base and a supportive team behind you, so you won't face constant chaos or unrealistic workloads.

What you'll be doing

- Service, diagnose and repair commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Complete planned preventative maintenance to keep equipment running in tough Pilbara conditions
- Fault-find mechanical, electrical and controls issues
- Install, commission and decommission HVAC/R equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and get critical cooling back online quickly
- Complete digital service reports, photos and asset information
- Communicate professionally with clients and site contacts
- Work with dispatch to plan your day and keep jobs moving

What you'll bring

- Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent
- Current ARCtick refrigerant handling licence




- WA restricted electrical licence (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Proven commercial HVAC/R experience
- Ability to work independently and manage your own jobs
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Professional approach to safety and quality
