Beholdcare Services is looking for warm, reliable, and compassionate Casual Community Support Workers to support elderly clients living independently in their homes across the Perth metropolitan area.

We welcome applicants with experience supporting clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, particularly Asian communities. An understanding of Asian cultures, traditions, and communication preferences would be highly valued.

This role focuses on social support, companionship, and community access, helping clients remain active, independent, and socially engaged.

Please note that this position does not involve personal care duties such as showering, toileting, or hygiene assistance.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Social Connection & Companionship: Spending time chatting, reminiscing, walking, or participating in activities with clients.
- Community Access & Transport: Driving clients to shopping centres, Asian grocery stores, social clubs, community activities, or routine appointments.
- Light Domestic Support: Preparing light meals, including culturally preferred dishes, and assisting with general light tidying.
- Wellbeing Checks: Monitoring clients' general wellbeing and completing accurate shift notes.

What You Bring

- Current Australian Driver's Licence with a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Valid National Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009).
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Good communication skills and ability to complete progress notes.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity when supporting clients from Asian backgrounds.
- Reliability, compassion, and respect for clients.

Prior aged care or community support experience is valued, but genuine empathy, reliability, and a commitment to supporting clients are equally important.
