We’re looking for a passionate, reliable Chef to join our client's restaurant and bar in Adelaide. Our client's menu combines traditional café breakfast and lunch favourites with Italian inspired dishes, focusing on fresh ingredients, great flavour and consistent quality.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and Italian inspired dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Manage preparation and service efficiently in a busy kitchen.
- Maintain food presentation, portion control and quality standards.
- Assist with menu development, seasonal specials and recipe ideas.
- Monitor stock, assist with ordering and minimise food waste.
- Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver a great dining experience.

Experience Required

- Previous experience as a Chef in a café, restaurant or similar setting.
- Confidence preparing traditional café breakfast and lunch dishes.
- Experience with Italian cuisine, including pasta, sauces and related cooking techniques.




- Strong organisation, communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and stock rotation.
- Relevant commercial cookery qualifications are preferred.
- Availability to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
