Allied Health Practitioners Wanted – Queensland Subcontracting Opportunities
Flexible opportunities | Practitioners based anywhere in Queensland | Face-to-face and telehealth
Are you an allied health practitioner interested in helping people in Metro and regional Queensland access quality services?
Linked Anchor Allied Health is seeking expressions of interest from qualified practitioners interested in working with us as independent subcontractors.
You can be based anywhere in Queensland. We are interested in practitioners who can travel to Queensland communities when required, which may involve a one-off visit, followed by ongoing support through telehealth where clinically appropriate.
Who we’re looking for
We welcome expressions of interest from:
- Occupational therapists
- Physiotherapists
- Speech pathologists
- Psychologists
- Social workers
- Counsellors
- Positive behaviour support practitioners
Practitioners with experience supporting children and adults with disability are encouraged to apply.
Queensland communities
We are particularly interested in supporting participants in Toowoomba, Bundaberg, Mackay, Rockhampton, Townsville, Cairns, Sunshine Coast, Hervey Bay, Gladstone and Warwick, as well as surrounding communities and other areas of Queensland.
How our model works
Our model aims to combine practitioner expertise with local, face-to-face support:
- Assessment: The practitioner conducts an initial assessment, preferably in person where appropriate. Travel arrangements will depend on the participant’s needs, the practitioner’s availability and the agreed service arrangement.
- Therapy plan: The practitioner develops an individualised plan based on the participant’s goals and needs.
- Ongoing support:
Where clinically appropriate, the practitioner continues providing services and monitoring progress via telehealth.
- Local assistance: Where appropriate, a local Allied Health Assistant can provide ongoing face-to-face support under the practitioner’s direction and supervision.
The practitioner remains responsible for clinical decisions and determining whether telehealth and Allied Health Assistant involvement are suitable for each participant. Further in-person visits may be arranged where needed and agreed.
Why work with Linked Anchor?
