Our Client, MARMAX TRANSPORT PTY LTD is seeking an experienced, organised and dependable Fleet Manager to coordinate fleet operations and support the efficient management of vehicles, transport activities and related operational requirements.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing vehicle-related operations, coordinating transport schedules, maintaining accurate records and liaising with clients and other relevant parties to ensure fleet activities are carried out efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinating the purchase, servicing, maintenance and ongoing management of transport vehicles, equipment and fuel requirements.
- Consulting with clients to understand their transport needs and providing information regarding vehicle options, purchase or hire arrangements, rates and associated obligations.
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving service-related concerns in a skilled manner.
- Receiving and managing transport orders and bookings and preparing suitable transportation schedules.




- Planning and coordinating transport movements to support day-to-day operational requirements.
- Ensuring goods are stored and transported under appropriate conditions to maintain their quality.
- Organising the collection and delivery of vehicles and goods as required.
- Maintaining accurate operational, fleet and business records.
- Preparing reports and operational statements relating to transport and fleet activities.
- Coordinating activities relating to the arrival, departure, loading and unloading of trains.
- Ensuring fleet and transport operations are conducted in accordance with applicable occupational health and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have:

- A relevant qualification in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Management, Fleet Management or a related field, which will be highly regarded.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in fleet management, transport operations, logistics or a similar role.
