Food Production Worker – Weigh-Up Room

At Kids Gourmet Food (KGF), we prepare fresh, nutritious meals for childcare centres across Australia. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our Weigh-Up Room team in Brookvale.

If you're good with numbers, enjoy working with food and prefer practical, active work over sitting at a desk, this could be the role for you!

You'll work across both kitchen preparation and warehouse tasks, picking, weighing, measuring and organising ingredients for our production kitchens.

Key Responsibilities

- Picking, weighing, counting and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Identifying ingredients and checking product labels, recipes and allergen information.
- Preparing and organising ingredients for production.
- Repetitive manual handling and lifting of up to 25 kg.
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and allergen management standards.
- Working efficiently to meet daily production requirements.

Essential Requirements

- Good basic maths skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and follow recipes, labels and written instructions.




- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting up to 25 kg.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous food handling, kitchen preparation or warehouse experience is an advantage.
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights and availability to work all five shifts, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM (38 hours per week).

Applicants with restricted work availability, including student visa work restrictions, cannot be considered.
