About the role

Neurodivergent Empowered is a Sunshine Coast NDIS provider and training organisation delivering the Free to Be Me framework through practitioner training, digital learning resources, publications and public education. We are hiring a Multimedia Designer to design and produce the digital and multimedia content that carries this work.

What you will do

- Design and build interactive digital learning modules and online course content
- Produce animated explainer videos, including storyboarding, illustration, motion graphics, sound and editing
- Create original illustration and visual assets for publications, courses, presentations and the website
- Design layouts for print and digital publications, workbooks and practitioner training materials
- Edit and produce video and audio content for learning platforms and social channels
- Maintain visual consistency across all digital products and platforms
- Work with the Clinical Lead and practitioners to translate clinical and educational content into accessible visual formats





Skills and experience required

- Bachelor degree in design, multimedia, digital media or a related field, or equivalent
- At least 1 year of qualified experience in multimedia, digital or learning design
- Demonstrated skill in animation and motion graphics (for example After Effects or equivalent)
- Demonstrated skill in illustration and layout (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent)
- Video and audio editing experience
- Experience building e-learning or interactive content (for example Articulate, Rise, Canva, Figma or equivalent)
- A portfolio showing animated and interactive work
- Ability to design accessible, neurodivergent affirming content

Desirable

- Experience in health, disability, education or training sectors
- Postgraduate study in learning design or education

Pay: $79,423.00 per year
