About the role

You will play an integral part in the day-to-day running of our kitchen, working closely with the owner/operators to develop menus, whilst having the freedom to implement new ideas & strategies for our menu & kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

- Guide your team towards excellence
- Mentor and develop your team
- Achieve results and exceed customer expectations
- Produce a quality and cost-effective menu that appeals to a wide audience
- Manage BOH financial operations including COGS, labour and stock control
- Ensure exceptional knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is maintained

About you

- Experienced and passionate, with a commitment to excellence in food quality
- An organised leader who wants to make a mark in the industry
- Strong work ethic with a positive can-do attitude
- Trade experience and industry qualifications - minimum Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery
- In-depth BOH financial management skills
- Full Australian working rights
