About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Aluminium Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our team in Condobolin, NSW. The successful applicant will need to have 2.5 years of experience in aluminium welding, metal fabrication, interpreting technical drawings, and producing high-quality fabricated components.

As well as Certificate 3 in Engineering, Fabrication Trade

This position is suited to a self-sufficient, motivated tradesperson who is comfortable working in a remote setting and can independently organise their relocation and accommodation arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform aluminium welding using MIG and/or TIG welding processes.
- Fabricate, assemble, repair, and modify aluminium and metal components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and workshop specifications.
- Measure, cut, fit, prepare, and finish materials to the required tolerances.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality control, and workplace safety.
- Operate fabrication equipment, tools, and machinery safely.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

Skills and Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in aluminium welding and metal fabrication.
- Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds.




- Competency in MIG and/or TIG welding.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Relevant trade qualifications and welding certifications are desirable.

Remote Relocation Requirement — Important

Applicants must be willing and able to relocate immediately, at their own expense.

The successful applicant must organise and fund their own travel, relocation, and initial accommodation arrangements. Applicants must be prepared to reside in the area for the duration of their employment.
