Looking to broaden your skills and take your electrical career in a new direction?
This is an opportunity to build on your electrical foundation while developing new skills across electrical, data and communications. You'll be joining an established Sydney communications business that's expanding its electrical services, working across a variety of projects, including student accommodation, education and commercial sites.
Whether you're recently qualified or have a few years of experience under your belt, this role offers the chance to develop a broader skill set, work alongside an experienced team and take on new challenges.
You don't need to know everything from day one. If you've come through a solid apprenticeship, have a positive all round electrical skill set and are keen to keep learning, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install electrical power to communications rooms, racks and equipment.
- Carry out general electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding.
- Work alongside the communications team on data, security and AV projects.
- Assist with testing, tagging and electrical compliance documentation.
- Work across a variety of sites throughout Sydney.
- Support the continued growth of the electrical side of the business.
- Develop your knowledge of communications systems while maintaining and building on your electrical skills.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a reliable, motivated electrician who takes pride in their work and wants to continue developing professionally.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- A current NSW Electrical Licence, with approximately one to three years' post apprenticeship experience preferred.
- A solid all round electrical foundation, including lighting and power, distribution boards and fault finding.
- An interest in developing skills across data, security and communications.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work well within a team.
- Good communication skills and a qualified approach on site.
- A current White Card and driver's licence.
An ACMA cabling registration is advantageous but not essential.
Most importantly, you're someone who wants to broaden their experience, contribute to the team and build a versatile skill set for the future.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is an established Sydney communications business expanding its electrical capabilities and delivering projects across a range of sectors.
Behind the work is a well structured business with an experienced senior leadership team and a strong focus on building lasting working relationships. It's a team oriented environment where people are supported to develop their skills, take on new challenges and contribute to the company's growth.
You'll be joining a business that values its people, recognises hard work and gives its team the opportunity to grow alongside the business.
WHAT'S ON OFFER?
