Early Childhood Educator/s

Langwarrin Preschool is looking for two enthusiastic Qualified Co-Educators to join our well established team commencing in 2027.

We are seeking passionate and dedicated educators who are enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing.

You will be joining an experienced and committed team who value collaboration, relationships and creating meaningful learning experiences for every child.

The Role:- Permanent part time educator positions

Position 1 – 3 yo kinder group, Wednesdays and Fridays session times: 8:15am – 3:45pm (14 hours contact & 3.5 hours non-contact = 17.5 hours per week)

Position 2 – 4yo kinder group, Mondays and Wednesdays session times: 8:15am -3:45pm (14 hours contact & 3.5 hours non-contact = 17.5 hours per week)

Langwarrin Preschool is a long standing and well loved sessional kindergarten in our local community. With a dedicated team who have worked together for many years, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, supportive and nurturing environment for children, families and educators alike.

The successful applicant must be dynamic, committed, and a strong understanding of NQF, VEYLDF, Indigenous perspectives and Child Safe Standards.



They should be able to work collaboratively and positively as a team member to create a stimulating learning environment and maintain accurate records on each individual child’s progress. They will need to demonstrate their ability to engage with children and families in a warm, welcoming, and inclusive manner, ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and a safe environment is maintained at all times.

The applicant needs to be computer literate and be willing to engage in using our online systems.

Ø Employment is under the VECTEA award.

The successful applicant should also possess and address the following criteria within their application to be considered for the position:

· Completed a minimum qualification of a Certificate 111 qualification in Children's Services – Cert 111 and Diploma qualified will be considered for these positions

· Completed current Mandatory Reporting Module

· Completed GECCKO Training (modules 1-4)

· ACECQA approved First Aid Qualification, Anaphylaxis Management Training and Asthma Management Training

· Right to Work in Australia

· At least two professional referees

Pay: $30.65 – $35.00 per hour
