Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Lay bricks, blockwork, and stone using mortar mixtures for load-bearing and decorative walls.
- Build footings, foundations, retainers, and internal/external masonry walls.
- Ensure accurate alignment, plumbing, leveling, and spacing using spirit levels, lines, and plumb bobs.
- Cut bricks and blocks to size using power saws and brick hammers.
- Mix mortar and concrete to required proportions and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, safe site in compliance with WHS regulations and guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Qualification: Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying (or relevant trade qualification / equivalent trade experience).
- Experience:



Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in residential or commercial bricklaying.
- Licences: Valid driver’s licence, reliable transport, and a current Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
