About the role

Our Registered Nurses are responsible for delivering relationship-centred care that ensures the dignity and respect of all residents, whilst providing clinical oversight of our dedicated residential care team. Our onsite doctor and clinical leadership team will support you with coaching and ongoing professional development to build on your clinical skills in wound management, dementia and palliative care.

Your responsibilities will include: -

- Undertaking clinical assessments using a multi-disciplinary approach
- Planning and regularly evaluating Resident care based on the individual’s needs and in consultation with relatives and/or advocates; and other health care professionals as appropriate (e.g. dentists, doctors, opticians, physiotherapists, Mental Health services for the elderly etc.).
- Provide coaching, leadership and direction to EN’s and Care Workers




- Assisting with the development, implementation and monitoring of quality and continuous improvement activities

You will possess highly developed communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in an inter-disciplinary team. You will take pride in your ability to develop meaningful connections with our residents and their families and be an inspirational leader of our nursing and personal care team members.

In order to fulfil the clinical care requirements of this role, you will also possess: -

- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Sound knowledge & practical application of the Aged Care Act and Accreditation Standards.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an Aged Care setting
